Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in various phases of electrical systems design for photovoltaic projects, including site investigations, CAD production, and the preparation of design and contract documents.
- Develop final construction documents from established concept designs or Design Development drawings.
- Handle a heavy production load with a focus on quality and precision.
- Independently complete engineering tasks such as design drafting of electrical construction documents using AutoCAD, electrical distribution design, solar photovoltaic design, voltage calculations, and conductor/raceway sizing.
- Perform detailed PV Syst calculations, utility coordination, code review, and preparation of specifications.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering of photovoltaic systems.
- Proven ability to produce quality construction documents in a production and design role, meeting the satisfaction of senior staff.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of related software.
- Computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as production-related software (ETAP, PV Syst).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
