Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead substation physical and/or protection & control (P&C) design efforts.
  • Develop electrical engineering deliverables using tools such as CYME.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Interface directly with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes and mentor junior engineers.
  • Support renewable energy integration and grid modernization projects.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of HV utility substation design experience (69kV–500kV or EHV 500kV+), either in physical or protection & control design.
  • Prior experience with a consulting engineering firm on utility substation projects.
  • PE license or ability to obtain PE within 1–2 years.
  • Strong project leadership and QA/QC experience highly desirable.
