Role Overview:

• The Industrial Electrician Supervisor will play a pivotal role in managing and supervising the electrical team at an underground zinc operation. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and safety of electrical operations both underground and on the surface.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the electrical team.
• Prioritize, coordinate, and layout daily work.
• Inventory, schedule, and order materials and supplies for upcoming tasks.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components, including PLC panels, drives, motors, fans, VFDs, transformers, pumps, and generators.
• Work with various voltages (4-20 mA, 4160, 13.8, AC up to 480v, 5kva, DC).
• Read and follow electrical prints.
• Assist the electrical team as needed.
• Develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations and troubleshoot accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Effective communication skills with department managers and employees.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Proficiency with PLCs and DC/AC/Drive systems.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to perform tasks safely, without posing a threat to self or others.
• Eligibility to work in the US.
