Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, configuration, operation, and analysis of network simulation experiments.
  • Participate in tests and analysis utilizing network simulation and emulation verification/validation models.
  • Engage in software reviews with colleagues and maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with government standards and regulations in all project aspects.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes, providing viable networking solutions.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to strategic planning and project reviews.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Familiarization with ns-3 models and at least two years of experience in computer programming with exposure to network design/engineering.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent proficiency.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and systems programming principles.
  • Thorough understanding of networking and congestion control protocols.
  • Familiarity with 4G/5G architecture and models in ns-3, and RF propagation effects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from managers and clients.
  • Proven decision-making and multitasking abilities, with a record of accomplishment of seeing projects through to completion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
