Key Responsibilities:


  • Tailor crane control systems using pre-existing software modules.
  • Oversee the factory acceptance, commissioning, and lifecycle management of material handling equipment.
  • Adapt PLC software to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Monitor and develop solutions for outdated automation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control/software issues in collaboration with engineers and service technicians.
  • Travel to customer sites for hands-on troubleshooting and support.


Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
  • Proven experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Proficiency in Siemens PLC and HMI programming.
  • Previous experience as an Automation Engineer.
  • Knowledge of variable frequency drives and control systems for material handling devices.
  • Familiarity with NEC electrical code and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
